I've just been working on story at a moderate pace, and here is me checking in to say that.

1p0- Woke up. I'm sick with the common cold. I have a slight headache, a sore throat, and heavy nasal congestion. I'll be working on easy tasks today.

It's a uhh... 

I guess I should jot down some notes on what this thing is. The game design called for a turtle enemy that had a lot of shield but was very hard to miss. I wanted to protect the head by not placing it in the front, that way it would seem feasible that the turtle was hard to line a headshot at. I placed the eyes upside down so that it would have an easier method of eating, and largely ignored its natural predators. The turtle has stegosaurus-like bone spikes that allow it to protect itself from predators, as well as osteoderm plating to suggest that a lot of its mass is bone armor. I was scratching my head on this one.

Spent the day working on writing. My sister left for South Carolina, so I'll have less social obligations now. I'm going to basically spend the whole month writing, I think.

11a2- Concluded test with color printer; even though all prints were made in black and white, printer proceeded to use expensive color ink, presumably for "self cleaning maintenance". Discontinued use of printer, salvaged old B&W laser printer and siphoned ink. Accidentally missed dentist appointment. I don't have many outside social obligations so I tend to be forgetful of dates.
12p3- Purchased pizza and ate with sister.

1a15- Conversed with potential female mate for an hour. Mate ceased further communication upon discovering my profession. It's not the first time it's happened.

Report: Sloppy day. Something embarrassing happened on this day, too embarrassing to post it. It made the day overall much more difficult than it should have been. I hung in there though. I'm trying to relieve stress to get better sleep, but seeking a partner and having potential rejections is probably only going to cause more stress. B-.
