What does it mean when the first loading screen never goes past "infinitycomplete%". Swear to God this game worked fine and after all these patches nothing works anymore.

DeleteJust figured out the problem... Apparently with the new caching changes, it doesn't read the bytesTotal from the swf properly, so I decided to basically hardcode the size of the game to compensate for it.

DeleteYou go back to some earlier save. And i wonder if its possible to go back to all your earlier saves. My saves for example got removed 3 patches ago.
If I got your question correctly, it probably isn't possible to get the earlier saves if the cache was deleted without doing manual backup.

DeleteI remember last February; that's when the project went real dark. The first programmer left and I was redesigning the game to make the workload more manageable. I even wrote a long depressing post about it. Compared to that, things are a lot brighter. I'm still here.
Will the Cheat Codes be just a form of Saves for those who lose them or will there be game cheats for players who just wanna have fun with the game or just really suck at this style of games & wanna get through it easier?

Please add cheat codes for combat, and real ones too, not the "relationship building is slightly easier but now everyone is on their death bed within a week" stuff like the lovesick mode is. I honestly don't know what prompted the people behind something as casual and easy as Aching Dreams 2 to decide that the next game needed to be X-Com or Dark Souls.
ReplyDeleteGetting real buyer's remorse since I paid $20 for scenes I apparently have no way of getting to because the game is so unforgiving, even with "easy" mode. At least include a shortcut for those of us that paid.
As HentaiCook have stated, we are planning to add Cheat Codes next patch.
DeleteIf it has been said before, please forgive me. What about a "new game plus" option instead of cheat codes? Having stats carry over would be a nice advantage, while still forcing the player to experience the game.

Basically, I completed a few of the characters last year. Namely, Veronica, Stella, and Isabel. Life has been busy this year and I now have the time to continue the rest of the characters. Unfortunately, the armor/ powerups that I bought previously is now gone, and the scenes I have unlocked have disappeared as well.
I did not clear any cache or browser history beforehand. Please help!

DeleteFor most of the cheats, looking through the story gives you some form of hints... However, since we're now lenient on giving people some cheats, I'll post clues for the first three cheats. Maybe later on the cheats themselves will be posted...

ReplyDeleteSeriously, this game has been a wash from day one. It's been a year and there are still no voices, it's not fun to play, and we're practically being teased with how hard it is to unlock any sex scenes (let alone COMPLETE A STORY).
I've played and enjoyed some hard games--the Shin Megami Tensei series, Shiren the Wanderer, Etrian Odyssey. Those games had smart design. Aching Dreams 3 isn't hard, it's asinine. The *least* I can get is some input from the game on whether the code I'm using is working.
I really wanted to love this game, I really did. I can't imagine how much work Hentaicook has put into it. But dang, it's such a tough game to even like.

Delete- voices were always coming later
- they've made it a lot easier and even put a mode in to make the combat easier, and recently a mode so you can skip combat altogether and lowers the date requirements.
Try using those modes and focus on 1 character to start with. I was frustrated at first but credit to the devs they've !adr itna lot better and I cannot wait for new stuff, love the characters and the art style.
How do i get the correct ending? Even though i have all of the girls at affection at least 10 i still get a game over.... Any tips or help?

ReplyDeleteUpdate on cheat code system: I have fixed a few bugs where people trying to enter the correct cheat codes were getting errors. It should work now if you guys try it again.

Just wanted to say, I think this game is great! The story and characters are legitimately so unique and fun. I'm finding myself playing it more for them than the H scenes. I have to say the combat sucks though and it is INSANELY hard.
