Greetings everyone! Jungl3curr1 here.
I have some bad news. In the past few weeks, I have tried contacting Hentaicook, but he's not responding. Well, what does this mean exactly? In internet terms, he'll no longer be with us.
I do apologize deeply for how these past few months have transpired, but I believe that without Hentaicook that we will no longer be working on AD3 or any other future products.
Thank you all for your support on AD3. It was a blast for both me and Hentaicook to be able to make this game.

I'm still here. I uhh, might've missed this guy's email, but the last time Jungl3curr1 and I spoke, I talked to him about a hiatus, but I think he didn't quite clearly get the message, and neither did I get his return message, so it's like you're reading this because of an internal communication failure. I have half a mind to delete the whole post, but I don't really like censoring speech so I'll leave it as is.
I'm here. Hentaicook Games remains. We (or I, the primary content producer) still have plans for future products. Thank you for your patience, and sorry for the mess.

As I have stated, until Hentaicook returns at least, I won't do much with AD3 or any other AD-related products apart from maybe publishing the greenlight version.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, the website is still running until the server expires. I don't exactly know when the server will close. As for the offline version, I'm not sure what greenlight rights I have, but if I can publish the game without the original creator's consent, then I can go ahead and publish it on steam.

I cannot load Aching Dreams 3, except for the SFW version on Chrome, is there a better web browser to use?

Its fair to say that the game should have voices, i agree, but i dont have the resources. I didn't run off with your money. When people complained about loading issues, i put that money into an expensive server. We tried. I still want to make more h for this game.
ReplyDeleteI have a question, by any chance would you be willing to make Aching Dreams (any and all 3) into a downloadable game? It just makes it easier for those of us without reliable internet to play (not to mention if something ever happens to the servers we would be able to keep our copy of the game forever). For example I paid for Aching Dreams 2 when it first came out but when I had to switch over computers I basically lost access to the full version of the game and as much as I like Aching Dreams 2 it's not something I want to pay for every 4 or so years.....
ReplyDeleteI second that. I love AD2, I play it regularly. My fear is always that if the servers go then the game goes with them.
DeleteAlso, i don't know how the servers are kept but what i know is that keeping the servers and having traffic costs money. Without new people spending money to buy the games it might result in you losing money over time.

No, i don't expect to make a downloadable version. It used to cost a few hundred to keep the server up(back when people were experiencing loading issues), but now its just 10 bucks. I don't mind the cost.

DeleteHe pops in occasionally but I think he's winding down on games. It's a shame as he makes some of he best quality hgames I've seen but if his heart isn't in it then it doesn't make sense to continue.

Would love to play this game and/or log into AD2, but as the previous poster said, logging into Andrograde isn't working. I loved everything about AD 1 and 2 and Veronica's story in 3, so I'm desperately hoping for an answer, Hentaicook!
ReplyDeleteI agree about Patreon. Patreon for adult games has really exploded in popularity since AD3 released and people are more willing and comfortable paying to support adult games.

ReplyDeleteIt's a shame too. These games were great but getting burned for giving him money is rough. I check to see if theres any signs of life about once a month but it seems that they're done forever.
DeleteIt's a bummer when you buy/back someone's work and can't access it anymore. Maybe someday he'll rework it for standalone, but i think we can pretty much consider these games gone for good.

ReplyDeleteI fondly remember AD3 from my 2017 playthrough and wish the full version was currently accessible to replay. AD2 as well. I remain a fan of HentaiCook/LoveSworder's work and will continue to check back from time to time, holding out hope... Best wishes to you, HentaiCook! ReplyDeleteHentaicook is a joke. He promised AD2 and AD3 offline for years. Dropped out of developing promised for AD3 and went into a complete radio silence. He ignored everyone, even the producers he was working with that wrote this initial blog post. You can download the AD2 swf file here. I have no experience cracking, but you can download a flash decompiler to pull the scenes from the game. DeleteChecking back again... hard to believe it's been 10 years since I played through AD Second Session. It was the first time I'd ever spent money on a game on the internet. I followed the progress of AD3 closely and was thrilled with the final product when I played it. Still hoping that these games will come back into existence somehow, somewhere.
