Teresa update released

Whew. Back in business. You can see Teresa's update in the masturbation room by accessing Sienna's page.

Frei and Sanza will be released next next week, around the 30th, but please don't mark your calendars, it gives me a heart attack.

FreiXSanza will be extra long consisting of 6 unique scenes, but not all animated, so that's why it needs some extra time in the oven. BadgerMushroom created the story and won the story writing contest for it.

While I'm being held back on AD2S DLC, John Evans has already started on some prelim programming work for AD3. He'll have a blog some time up showing bi-weekly progress, and I'll chime in on some stuff too. Look forward to those thingers.

  1. are all these updates just for the bought game, or are they on the free version also?

  3. Wait, I thought she had a full story? Or was something changed recently and I didn't see it?

  4. Will you ever do some footjob stuff?

  5. Where will this blog be? Will you have a link up for it?

  6. 1. No, no other characters will have a full 5 mission story like the mains. There's going to be short missions and just hentai scenes, but that's about it for here on out.

    2. FJs ranked lowest on the survey for what people want to see, and add to the fact that I haven't been doing much other fetishes, mainly because I'm thinking people would rather see more girls with the popular fetishes than the same girls with more fetishes. Maybe I'll get around to different fetishes, but FJ's not going to be one of them.

    3. The blog will be up on rosewoodgames.com Think of it like the end of the two towers, how the elves came to help the humans, and they were all defending helm's deep in the end to protect what was good. Okay that one's kind of a long shot....

  7. without wanting to heartattack you ;)
Any Eta on the Update ?

  8. Just curious on the update. A day, week, month? Don't feel rushed, but any info would be good.

    ReplyDelete
  9. HC you really gotta start letting us know whats up with the update even if its not ready yet.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah bro. Not to pile on, but delays don't annoy me. Take all the time you need to make the best product. But it's the lack of info that gets a little irksome. If you could just pop on for a minute and say "needs another week", I think it would go a long way to ease everyone's minds, maybe yours as well.

  11. Chill people, I'm sure that HC is working on it and I will wait for as long as it takes. On the other hand he could go the way of sim man and disappear of the face of the earth.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No one says he's too slow... only that he could give us feedback about his progress

    ReplyDelete
  13. Alright, I think we're in agreement. Delays are fine. Long periods of silence past the last tentative ETA are not.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And maybe just updating his ETA... I just recently bought the game and can only find old posts with super old schedules. I think it'd be smart to update them for the newer buyers... otherwise they may feel mugged.

  15. Everyone just shut up and leave him be honestly will get it sometime soon just keep checking back every so often dont comment saying were the hell is it just wait

  16. To the dude above,... Really man? does anyone appear to be harassing him? All they want is a ballpark schedule man...

  17. This may sound like nitpicking, or harassing, but I swear what I'm about to say comes out of a desire to see HC do well and have the AD franchise take off:

If you have paying customers, and you want to seem at all professional, there's no excuse for you not to be able to take 20 seconds out of a busy week and say "hey all, needs a lot more time. Check back in a week". That's it. 20 seconds a week. No one cares that the content is delayed, they care about being kept in the dark when the remedy is so simple. You have several polls trying to figure out what features are the most popular to include in gameplay. Apply that ethic to your paying customers and keep them happy by giving them what they want... bi-weekly communication. Maybe you're worried that coming on to tell people something will be delayed again will cause them to complain? If so, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Look at the comments, your fans seem to be extremely understanding people. Not once has someone said "POST THE UPDATE ALREADY", they just want to know what's up.

Again, I'm not here to hurry you up or complain about all the amazing work you've done, but if you want to be taken seriously, you need to pop on and give a 1 sentence update once every 2 weeks or so.

Can you imagine any serious game developer (independent or not) promising content around a certain date, then going dark for 2-3 weeks?

Yes, I understand you seem to be a bit bored of AD2 and you're really excited to work on AD3, but I paid for AD2. I want what was promised of AD2 (especially some more voice overs, the main reason I pre-ordered) before I can start caring about AD3. And honestly, the more frustrating an experience I have with AD2 content, the more I'll pause when considering pre-ordering AD3 in the future.

I'll probably get terribly flamed for this, but again I'll state that I love HC's work, he's an amazing talent and I wish him only the best. If I didn't care at all, I wouldn't say anything and just give up on the franchise. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to organize your own game franchise, so I humbly offer this as constructive criticism.

With that out of the way, can't wait for the new update :)

  18. I think I've got it down for next week.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Damn, not even for christmas..

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm sure he has Christmas stuff of his own to take care of.

    ReplyDelete
  21. You mean the original game which we purchased that he now provides us with intermittent updates absolutely for free?

    ReplyDelete
  22. My 2 cents:

HC, do everyone (including yourself) a favor and just cancel any planned updates on AD2. I feel that you are no longer interested in working on bonus scenes for AD2 and is more excited to work on your new project. Less hassle for everyone.

Delays are understandable if you are really busy. But delays after delays after delays? Something is up and to me, this means you are no longer interested in continuing on with the project.

  23. Oh stop bitching. 10 bucks for this game as it is, is a steal and you know it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The few of you reading this blog and commenting back, thanks. It's nice to know there's a few fans that are willing to wait so long for an update that probably wouldn't take that much of your time.

I just don't get it. I use to be a clock, hell I made that whole game by my lonesome in a year and a half, but now I can barely lift a pen up...

You guys are the best fans I could have. I'll try to at least be more transparent about things...

    ReplyDelete
  25. some times when people want somthing your less willing to do it. if it feels like work you might try and get out of it. but take your time we already got a great game all the extra stuff you add is bonus. well thats how i see it

    ReplyDelete
  26. I agree , you should take your time

    ReplyDelete
  27. How about starting this Plan with an ETA on the current update ;)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Maybe you're tired. Or you just need to do something else for a change. Or maybe the earlier anonymous person was right about that new project being much more appealing. In any case, happy holidays and happy new year :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think you just need to be reasonable about the deadlines you set and announce, with a little bit of leeway for technical and other difficulties . Even subdividing it might be a good idea. For example, giving an ETA on the the lineart, coloring, animation, programming, and debugging for each part when you are working on them means that we can stay informed of progress and you can set attainable goals.

    ReplyDelete
  30. So that means you're giving up? :(

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sorry about how you're feeling, hope you can still get this update out since it was a contest thing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Its been a huge while but i hope that you are making good updates for AD2, just so you know we are still trying to be patient on receiving at least any news on the updates and or info on what more scenes might be added, so if you have any free time try to speed up the progress a little bit for AD2 or just resume with creating AD3, other than that i wish you good luck. :)
