Here's Isabel in sprite form, and the revised machine pistol with a cyclic rate amplifier that increases the rate of shots per burst, allowing greater control of the recoil, even in it's five round burst fire mode. Should still kick like a mule, and the back stock has programmable settings, because more guns should have computer interfaces in the future.

I'm steadily working on the project. No hentai to show, but things are lookin' pretty sweet. Lots of sprite work, and I've never had to do sprites before until now, but the concept is basically the same. I've been hanging out with a friend a lot. We work on our own projects at the same time, get up at the same time, have times where we chat, and times where we're both intensely focused on our crafts... we just spend all day together! Unfortunately for me, he's not a she. We're going to rock paper scissors to see who gets a sex change.

Also, here's some Gun Porn that I used as the main inspiration for the Cycamp 9mm!

Art update-
Isabel. Notice the difference between the faces. The final one is batshit crazy and angry. While these are suppose to be sexy women, they're suppose to be cartoony in a way, too.

What I've been doing with myself-
Saw the therapist. I think his daughter was hitting on me (ahem that's very very rare btw), but I really screwed it up. I went over to my friend's house and practiced pool for an hour by myself because my sleeping schedule is so off from them. I'm hanging out with a friend online, and we just work all day together. We call it "working in the lab". I'm currently working on some animation stuff, and there's a lot of stuff that's not worth showing, but you guys will see it all when it's ready, so excuse the lack of updates.

Here's the intro loading screen to AD3. My friend Ryan made the song. The first part is the actual loading when you see the space station drift around the planet. After you've finished loading, the space station will finish orbitting the planet, and then the rock part will start up and you can click "Liftoff" to play the game.

There's going to also be a percentage bar to see how far you've loaded, and yeah the initial loading bar should be much faster than AD2's horrendously slow one.

And here's the official AD3 poster. AD2 has a vertical portrait poster, but I felt that the landscape setting is more suited to the game's landscape aspect ratio.

I set a limit to make this background from scratch in one day, and I achieved my goal within that time limit. Also, fake in-game screenshot! Whoohoo!...boy I'm tired.

Over the course of the next few days, I'm going to be rolling out these dossiers for the different characters. The last portraits for Zoe are here. I usually crop the head shots to somewhere around the collarbone, so excuse the weird looking boobies.

As for how I'm doing... A few days ago, I played minesweeper. I'm suppose to be off video games for a year, and well, I relapsed playing minesweeper. I played it for 5 hours. Instantly the next day, I had visions of violence- Shooting things with blaster rifles or submachine guns, throwing fireballs while imagining the area of effect, and then I took out my pocket knife and started waving it around like an idiot in real life. Good thing I didn't record it like the Star Wars Kid.

The first step of solving an addiction is acknowledging it. I admitted it on this blog. Step 1 completed. Next is to prevent enablers. I uninstalled Minesweeper from my computer.

Now I'm starting to think I should give up video games for good. For, like, Forever. My personal problem with video games, is that I find them addicting and I'm unable to work when I have to fulfill the urge. I have come up with the following ideal activities in lieu of video games:
  • Reading a book
  • Playing board games
  • Watching Movies (I already do a lot of this while I work)
  • Hanging out with human beings
  • Getting better at art
  • Jogging
And some more time/money consuming activities that I will partake in after AD3 is completed.
  • Shooting real guns
  • Hockey
  • Traveling Inexpensively
  • Dancing
  • Tennis
Maybe I will be able to ultimately stop playing video games forever (my own are excluded of course). For now, let's just concentrate on getting through the next month without them.

How do you like the dossiers style? Did you enjoy reading Veronica's background? Do you like Zoe's visual appearance? Do you have a wife, like Steveman? Fill a lonely artist's inbox and comment on your idea of major boobage below.
