AD Free?

So I read an interesting article about how this guy made money for his flash game through sponsorship deals. 35,000 dollars for his game, but I'll have to add that his game is a huge hit.

For it to work though, I'd have to satisfy the main portal(flash game collection site) condition, no porn. If I was going to make a completely new game, the absence of porn makes it quite the challenge (I can imagine The Dark Planet being pretty good without porn, but these are wishwashy ideas), and while I think my games are good, without porn means that I have to make up for it with excellent programming, something I'm not prepared for.

The other option is to sell sponsorship of AD2SClean. Hentai-less Aching Dreams has to have a full campaign with no sex stories in it. Some of these stories have a lot of sex in them, but basically I'd "neuter" the game.

Think about Carmen 1. You get to have sex with Sarah, but in Clean, you don't get the option. You can take a peek at the shower scene, but they're all wearing bathing suits. I am not sure, but I think a quick boob flash at the end for every character might actually be OK with these sponsors.

The two real options I'm looking at here is either to give away Jeanne's story as AD2S(sexy) for free, as basically an advertisement for the real, paid game, or to consider a sponsorship deal with AD2SClean, and possibly make money that way.

A game developer must wear many hats, business is one of them.
