Almost there.

I'm confident I can release the game tomorrow at noon. Right now, I'm putting some missions in and testing them, everything is running smoothly, except the fact that I will not be getting any sleep.

  1. I am pretty excited :D
I can't wait to get it, thanks for all the hard work that's gone into it.

  3. Being patient is a virtue and I am sure that our patience will be greatly rewarded. Onward!

  4. don't talk about "we", you're the impatient fucktard
quality takes time, you don't have a clue how difficult and time-consuming creating a game is, especially with a small team

  7. He's not a customer yet, he hasn't paid a penny, (unless hes made a donation like some of us have) so he has no"right" to whinge. Besides it'll be done when its done, no use moaning about it.

  8. "I think if he's a customer he has every right to be impatient... "
there's a line between being impatient and being a whiny nerd
As a game designer I can tell you that the second is the worst, they don't try to understand the difficulty of creating games and just whine their asses off if you tell them a game is delayed

  10. //I'll repost this in a little nicer version:

Ugh, Lovesworder. Regardless of being a customer or not, when it is ever ok to say stuff like that to anyone working hard on a project? Paid games or free games, it will be done when it's done, and no one gains from whiny idiots acting like it's going to cost THEM so much time and money.

Lets say he has a right to be impatient, whatever that is, then what should he/she say? Either, "I have been waiting forever, I can't wait to play this game!" or "This motherfucking game had better be worth all my time"?

Which sounds right to you? If it isn't obvious, then you need to learn to be a little more considerate.

  11. Don't take things too serious, it should be no problem if the game is actually performing well. There is no need to argue about his attitude, that is just not the point we care indeed(The game is much important than that person).

  12. Point taken.

I'll be waiting for the game release!

  13. I think his opinion, no matter how vulgar, is valuable. As long as he's not lying, I value it.

I'd like to think of it like the bigger game industry... There's a bunch of main site reviewers for a big name game, but for a smaller game like AD2S, every person's opinion is that much more important.

    Back to work.

  14. Be happy, AD2S will made everybody feel fine, and that is enough. I think what I need is not lotion but a backup dick, so that when mine has broken I could use that one instead, haha.

  15. I think one reason there is concern is that hentai games without a full studio behind them have a mediocre track record with delivering a finished product. You've done a good job of at least showing incremental progress, but there was certainly a period where it seemed to be in at least development purgatory if not development hell. I think that concern is one thing that makes getting pre-orders more difficult, because there are others before you that have taken money and not delivered a product.
